I sometimes have to pinch myself to realise just how happy I am to with Total AV. From its security and cleaning features to the well above par customer service . It is wonderful to feel fully safe and protected whilst surfing on what ,unfortunately, is becoming a hacker infested world wide web.

Total AV is far more effective than most other antivirus software. One of the most effective aspects of Total AV is that it protects the firewall.

don't know just what is doing and on duplicate files it would be great if I could see the pictures instead of the teeny tiny thumbnails you produce some files I keep in more than just one spot
Butts in too often

The program promised me it would run when I wasn't working on the computer. Wrong! It cranks itself up and starts up when I in the middle of tasks that I need/want to complete. There is no way to "ask" it to stop and wait a while, so I have to endure a slowed-down system and associated problems until the program has completed running. Hate this enough that I plan to look for an alternative as soon as I have time.

Total is a good product and in the two years I have used it seems to offer good protection. It can be a bit complex especially when it comes to updating but this seems more automatic at present. Alerts to threats is clear with a couple of lines of action available.
small problem

When I open TotalAV the dashboard is not central on the screen. Some of the right hand side is missing including the 'close' cross, and I cant move it to get the full dashboard. Can you help?

AFTER USING NAV FOR 20 YEARS I DECIDED TO TRY TAV ON THE BASIS OF GOOD REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET. IT HAS LESS OF AN IMPACT ON COMPUTER PERFORMANCE THAN NAV, SCANS QUICKER, & THE INTERFACE GIVES LOTS OF RELEVANT INFORMATION. tHE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT ON BOTH INSTALLS SO FAR, IT DID NOT RECOGNIZE MY TAV PASSWORD, BUT THIS WAS SOON REMEDIED. FINALLY, A QUERY TO TAV SUPPORT GOT AN AUTOMATED REPLY IN MINUTES, & A WRITTEN ONE THE FOLLOWING DAY [AFTER ABOUT 10 HOURS]. ALL IN ALL I'M SATISFIED AFTER 3 MONTHS' USE, & CAN RECOMMEND IT.
